Alright so I know that it's Monday and there is no new comic up. I would say that is my bad and that I was a being a lazy artist, but there is another reason. I am up to my eye balls in personal stuff that is making it too hard to maintain a five day a week web comic. Now I don't want to bore you with the details of my life, but I had originally planned to put the web comic on temporarily hiatus. However, my love of drawing and wanting to not stop doing something that I have loved doing, made me rethink this whole idea. So what I am going to do is slow down on the comics, and for the time being I will be making one post a week, on Wednesday. That way I can keep going instead of quitting. But once things go back to normal I will be trying to get back to a regular schedule again, and posting more often. So thanks to the few of you out there who are supporting my dream checking in on my progress.

Hey gang there is not alot to report on today, just that same as it has been for a little while. I am still working on stuff for the future of this blog, but there was a little set back as I was sick and when I am sick I am very lazy. But I am starting to feel better and starting to get back to work.

So here is a drawing a did a few days ago, playing around with a cartoon style with some of my favorite comic book characters.

Well it is Saturday again guys and gals. I dont have alot to throw out at ya this week. It is pretty much the same as always, still plugging away at Minimum Wage and building on that stock pile of Not @ All comics. Lots of things on my plate as of late, and trying to find time to do that as well as write things to make money, well it gets to you after awhile. That is why this weekend is just a free and relaxing one before I get back into the grind. Hope you all are having a kick ass weekend as well.

Hey gang, its Saturday again. And I am here again to tell you that I have done some pretty decent breakdowns for future Not @ All comics, as well as written a number of scripts for Minimum Wage. I don't know if I said it before, but if I did I am saying it again, I am hoping that I will have MW up before Summer hits. Soon I may post some sneak peaks at a few of the characters and such. So as always, stay tuned, or logged in, as things will pick up here pretty soon. Other then that I dont have much to post, except that I am super excited that Walking Dead is back.

So before I go, I got something here that I did the other night. Just playing with designs and styles. Here it is my fans.

Hey there folks, DVid here with ya again on yet another wonderful weekend. It is Saturday and I am sitting in bed writing this with some cartoons on in the back ground. Crappy cartoons, since most of the cartoons on in the mornings now suck. Ahhh remember the days when you would get up early on a Saturday, go and grab a bowl of cereal, the one loaded with sugar, then sit in front of the TV and watch some really cool and fun cartoons? I feel sorry for the newer generation, as they have mostly cheap cartoons that are written down, like the kids are stupid or something. Or ones that are Japanese reruns, cartoons that aired over there like four or five years ago. Oh well, since I am not a kid anymore it's not that big a deal, but I would sure hate to be one again.

So like always, I am just posting this to tell you that good things are on their way, at least I hope they are. I am writing some scripts, almost finished with them. Then I am going to get back to work on drawing them, and inking them. So with any luck it not be too long until I put up my new comic. It is just hard to do Not @ All and work on the new one at the same time. But that is what happens when I get lazy.

Welcome one and all, but more then likely one. It is Saturday again, and I am here to tell you all about the fun and exciting things going on with the artistic vision that is DVid's World. Well there is not much to tell right now, see I am in the middle of working on what I hope will be fun stuff for 2013. I may put some previews of stuff up once I get a bunch of them in the can. I am also working on some ideas for some paintings, as I wanna try some new stuff and expand my art beyond what I am used to. I have played around with digital painting, but I wanna get my hands dirty with the real thing. If stuff turns out good I will share it with you all. If not, then I will keep it as my dirty little shameful secret. Until all of this stuff happens, I will keep on pumping out Not @ All comics, and giving you weekly updates and a few little sketches and whatever else I can come up with. Speaking of that, here is digital painting I did awhile back that I really like.

Whats happening fans? DVid here again on this lovely, well I assume that it is going to be lovely, Saturday. I am watching some DC animated movies and working on plans for what I am going to do with all the ideas I have for the future with this blog, as well as coming up with some more Not @ All comics. Some stuff might get a little weird, so I hope you guys like weird. I will let you all in on the plans I have when I get closer to them being done. I want to be really far ahead of schedule before I start putting the stuff up, cause if I fall behind it could really mess stuff up. So until that stuff takes over, and I am aiming for all of this to happen by Spring. 

Oh yeah, here is a drawing I did of that ol buddy of mine, Godzilla. Hope ya like it.

Welcome fans to Saturdays blog. I hope you all enjoyed the last Shoofly, I know I had alot of fun trying to figure out what I was going to do with it, as well as a lot of fun drawing it. I ended the comic because I just had no clue where I was going to take it, and was getting more and more ideas for another comic, the one that will be taking over pretty soon. When I fell behind on it, I thought it was going to be alot harder to keep up, since I was finding it hard to write, because I never planned it out, and I was have a hard time finding time to draw everything. But with the new one coming up, Minimum Wage, I have a story, and jokes, kind of planned out in advance, and my time has freed up a bit, as pretty much all of the people I hang out with do nothing but sleep, giving me more then enough time to work. And in Minimum Wage, Sasha will be one of the cast members. Now as far as Manny and Marty go, well I will be doing something with them, I am just not sure yet as to what that something is going to be. But as soon as I figure it out, well then you will be the second ones to know. So I will be working on MW, but until it is ready I will be giving Not @ All a five day a week schedule. So check back on Monday and see what odd things having running through my head as of late. Until then, take it easy out there people.
