Hey hey gang! It's Sunday and here we are for part two of the super special weekend edition of Not @ All. We got a new cartoon for you, one that I hope you all will like. This idea came to me one day when an ex girlfriend was talking about some of the guys she used to be with. I just thought that it would be kind of funny to see this.

So I am still working on trying to catch up and build a new stock pile of cartoons so I don't fall behind. I calculated it all out and it looks as if there should be about forty two cartoons for the rest of this year. I think I have sketched out about ten so far, but still need to finish them. So as long as I don't lazy or nothing bad happens I should be able to keep this up.

Now I am a big TV fan, and I was excited that this past week began the new fall season, with alot of my favs returning. And tonight is the big return of Fox's animation domination, which has me super pumped. I have been looking forward to the return of Simpsons and American Dad since last season. So if your a big fan like I am, do not forget to tune in tonight for some major laughs.

Well, thats going to do it for this weekend edition of Not @ All, come back again tomorrow for our regular schedule and a new cartoon. If I can speed up the drawing process, and can think of enough of them, I am going to try and make October a monster and horror themed month, pick fun at some classics. See ya then folks.

Hello everyone and welcome to this special Saturday edition of Not @ All. Again sorry about not posting on the regular Friday like I usually do, but now instead of a regular Friday you get a super special Saturday. Ok so a couple of quick notes here, first off for this weekend edition I will not be doing a dedication, mainly because I keep doing them and I am starting to run out of people to dedicate to, I'm just burning through them. So I might also cut back on them during the week as well. Also as I was getting the cartoons ready for this I notices that I have been slacking off and falling behind. When I first started it all I had a stock pile of cartoons so as to never fall behind, but some how I seem to have done that anyways. So I am going to have to hit the drawing table hard to try and get back on track with this stuff.

Ok so that is going to do it for this super special Saturday edition, don't forget to check in tomorrow for the second part of this super special weekend of Not @ All. See ya then folks.

Hey hey folks! Here it is Wednesday and here we are with another, if not some what late, Not @ All cartoon. This one is late coming up because of some last minute touches, and a bad case of over sleeping do to mild illness. But I promised I would get these up here for the the four of you to read, boy I hope that is joke and there are more of you, and I intend to keep that promise. Today's cartoon had now caption to it for two reasons, one is I could not think of anything funny to write here, and two it seemed to be funnier without a caption. Also as far as the art itself goes, this is one of my favs.

Now today's dedication goes out to all of my female friends, even the one's who have already gotten a dedication. You ladies have to put up with a lot of crap in your lives from time to time, and sometimes that crap my come from me. So I just wanted to say thanks for putting up with it, and thanks for being so strong. Also thanks to most of you for not hitting me or leaving me in a store to walk home, even though I know alot of you probably really wanted to.

Now that is going to do it for today my awesome fans. Now a dose of bad news, do to circumstances beyond my control, there will be now Friday edition of Not @ All. But there is some good news, a sort of light at the end of this little dark tunnel. To make up for no Friday, there will be a special Saturday and Sunday edition that you all can look forward to. So I hope that will make you some what happy. Well until this weekend I want you all to be good.

Welcome back everyone, here we find ourselves on yet another Monday, with another new Not @ All cartoon. So enough with me giving the introductions and all, lets talk about the cartoon. So there is a funny story behind this cartoon. See this event actually happened to me one night long ago. I was hanging out with some friends one night, and my friend Stephanie was there. I kept squirting her with water, and she kept telling me to stop. Yeah so I didn't stop, and BAM! she popped me right in the nose. Now I am not sure about the details before or after I got hit, as she knocked the memory outta my head. To this day I still fear her and have the kind of nightmares that wake in the middle of the night screaming.

This leads us to today's dedication, which seems pretty obvious to me. Today's dedication goes out to my, very abusive friend, Steph. Thanks for beating me up and giving me the idea for drawing out said beating. Lets hope that you don't ever have to inspire me ever again, as I don't think my body could handle it.

Well folks, that will do it for today, I hope you all had fun with this new cartoon, I know I had fun making it, well except for that part where I got punched. So people, I will see you all here on Wednesday.

Thank god its Friday people, we made it yet again to the end of another week. Boy if we keep this up we will reach a year in not time. So I hope you all have been looking forward to this as much I have. Now today's joke was just something that popped in my head a little while back, as I was thinking that people tend to spend way too much time with their smart phones. Hmm, starting to sound like the crazy old guy down the street, next thing you know I will be yelling at kids to get off the yawn in my underwear. Yikes! That's a horrible image to put out there.

Now for today's dedication, and this is a hard one because I am burning through these faster then I had expected to. So I am going to do another band today, The Gorillaz. Another one that always ends up on a playlist or will put on an endless cycle of repeat. Their music can really help me get going as I am writing or drawing. And they have done alot of songs the seem to end up being favorites of mine. So a big thank you goes out to them for providing music for me to listen to while I work.

Well that is it for today folks, another Friday and another week has come to an end. Now get those frowns off your face, because we will be back on Monday with a brand new cartoon. So until then you will just have to have a good weekend. And you all know the motto by now, but just in case you forgot it, here it is again. Remember to take care, be fair, and share.

Happy Wednesday to all! Here we are at the middle of the week, and here we are with another mid week cartoon. That is correct fans, it is time for the Wednesday Not @ All. Today's cartoon comes from not my mind, but the mind of my brother who saw the sign on a fence somewhere telling people not to let their dogs poop on the property. I just drew it out as best I could, and let me tell you this one was a hard one to do. I still don't know it the dogs turned out right, but I like the background.

So today's dedication goes out to all the people out there who have dogs that do not bark twenty four hours a day. Dogs that do not sound like they are getting neutered of spade when they yelp and yipe in morning, afternoon, and at night. See, it's not that I hate dogs, because I don't, I hate the people that own dogs and let them bark whenever they want. So those of you out there that have dogs and are able to keep them quiet, kudos to you.

Well that will do it for today people, I'm sure you all had as much here today as I did. And if you didn't then we will just have to try harder next time. So I will see you all back here on Friday, and remember to take care, be fair, and share.

Good Monday to you all. Here we are with another start of the week, and another Not @ All cartoon to help you get going. Today's cartoon was just a random thought that popped in my head awhile back, and I kind of fooled around with it until this image came be. It started with me watching a show where the guy was yelling at his girlfriend and calling her a slut, then later that same day as the scene continued to play in my head, I saw sign for a casino advertising that they had the loosest slots in town. Well the word play seemed pretty obvious to me, as I am sure it would have been for most folks. Now fast forward to today were we see the toon in its final format.

Today's dedication goes out to my friends David and Audra, who seem to always be very supportive all the things I claim I am going to do, even if those things never actually happen, or seem incredibly stupid. It is nice to know that there are people out there who will stand beside you as put your heart and soul out there for the world to see. So thanks guys, if I ever get filthy stinking rich off of an of my ideas, I will be sure to remember you and take you to out for lunch or something, any 99 cent menu you want.

Well that's going to do it for today fans. Now, now, don't be sad, as always, we will meet back here on Wednesday for the middle of the week joke. Until then, as always, take care, be fair, and remember to share.

Friday, September 14, 2012

Well we have done it once again fans, we have made it to yet another Friday. I know, I know, I am surprised as well. But some how we seem to have found ourselves this far. And I don't know about you guys, but to me this has been a fun journey so far, and I look forward to how far I can take this.

Well today's dedication goes out to Charles Schultz, who gave the world the most iconic comic strip character of all times. When I was a kid I was not that big on Peanuts, sure I liked Snoopy and Woodstock, but the rest of the characters never did anything for me. Later on as I got older I began to get into the whole cast from Peanuts, and even found myself really liking the early days of the strip when Snoopy was still a puppy. The art had a certain charm, and innocents of characters made the strip something more then just the three panel joke kind of comic. Charles Schultz created characters that, at some time in their life, would speak to every one of us, touching the hearts of children, and the children in the hearts of adults. It is a recurring dream and fantasy of mine, to someday be able to create something that has that kind of effect on people.

Well fans, thats gonna do it for today. Have a wonderful weekend, no matter what you are doing, make sure to have some fun. I will hope to see you all back here on Monday for another new cartoon and some more of my ramblings. Until then, you know the drill, take care, be fair, and remember to share.

And here we are once again my fine fellows and fell... uh...ettes? Hmm not sure that works, but I don't like retyping a lot, so it stays. Anyways, the point is that we have found ourselves in the middle of the week yet once again, here on Wednesday. And if you don't know what that means, then you probably have not been pay attention here. And if your not pay attention, I only have one thing to say, where is the fifty bucks you said you would give me? See you don't remember telling me you would give me the money because you weren't paying attention, but I sure remember you saying it.

Ok, so enough with the silly humor that I am sure only I am laughing at. Lets get to the heart of why we are all here today, and brand new Not @ All cartoon. Today's toon is one that I drew a few years back, but went back to redo it since I was not happy with the way the old one looked. The idea came from a combo of when my girlfriend at the time broke up with me, and the fact that I have known people who were like this. Bot guys and girls, who have either had to provide for that special person in their lives, and seemed to have alot more money when that person was gone. Being the cheap lazy bastard that I am, I bet you can all guess which side of the fence I land on :-)

Today's dedication goes out to someone who I bet does not even know that this webcomic exists, like 99% of the rest of world out there. And since she does not know that it exists, I could say all kinds of nasty things about her, tell you all kinds of embarrassing stories and such, but if I did that then I would have nothing to black mail her with later down the line. So this strip goes out to a friend, a former co worker and boss, Heather. She put up with a lot from me while we worked together, and I can be a bit of a pain in the butt. So hey Heather, thanks for putting up with me and keeping me entertained at work, and not getting me into too much trouble with either the bigger bosses or law.

Ok peeps, that will do it for this installment of Not @ All, stay tuned for the up coming Friday edition at the end of week as always. And I am sure you are sick of reading it, but I still like typing it, so take care, be fair and remember to share.

Well once again Monday has fallen upon us, and that could mean many things, but none more important then the coming of a new Not @ All cartoon. I know you guys are as excited, heck I bet even more so, then I am by this fact. Well, at least I hope so. So a little insight on today's cartoon. I just finished putting it together a few minutes ago, cutting it a little close this time around. The cat kind of looks funny to me, no matter how many times I tried, he always seemed to come out like this. At first I didn't like the way he looked, but the more I stared at it, the more the look grew on me. Now I can not think of a better way for this toon to have come out.

Now for today's dedication, which goes out to a band. Right now as I write this, and as I was working on this cartoon, I had my ipod playing The Raveonettes. For those of you unfamiliar with this band, they are a Danish rock duo. They have a style that sounds alot like the music of the 50's and 60's, but with a much darker edge. I discovered them by accident, well that is my brother did, as he downloaded a free sample of their music from Amazon one day. When I heard them, the song being Dead Sound, I fell in love with them, and went on a hunt for anything I could find. More often then not, I have them playing in the background as I work on my many projects. So I have to say thanks for providing the soundtrack to my art, other various projects, and pretty much my life.

Well fans, that will do it for today. Hope you all had fun, and I hope you all will be back again on Wednesday for the middle of the week cartoon. If you are interested in checking out The Raveonettes, you can find their music at pretty much all the major music suppliers, Amazon, iTunes, etc. Both Youtube and Dailymotion have music videos you can watch as well to get a taste of them. Tell them DVid sent you and you will get.... well probably nothing, but maybe they will hear I am a fan and send me an autograph or something. So as always folks, take care, be fair, and remember to share.

Well we have made it to yet another Friday folks. It always amazes me when we get this far, just as it amazes me that there are people out there who are looking at my cartoons and hopefully getting just as much fun out of them as I put into them. So today's cartoon came to me one day while watching TV and seeing an add for Jenny Craig. It was something like the women in the commercial were all singing about how they shared everything, and I was like "really? Everything?" And then we fast forward to now where we see the cartoon up there.

Today's dedication goes out to Christopher Hart. His books are one of the main reasons that I have been able to sharpen my art skills. Yeah sure I am not great, but I am always working at getting better, and with each drawing I feel that I do get better. On my journey to get better, there is a stack of comic books and art books that sit next to my desk. Many of those books are by Christopher Hart, and always provide great insight into the art process. So thank you Mr. Hart for provides such great material for me to study and help improve my art.

Well that will do it for today's cartoon. As always, I expect to see you all here on Monday for another cartoon. It would be nice if I also saw some new faces out there, you know to help build up the revolution and all. So until next time folks, be fair, share, and take care.

Wednesday, September 5, 2012

Welcome back folks! DVid here wishing you all a happy and wonderful Wednesday. And with this Wednesday comes a new cartoon for you all. This cartoon popped in my head one day when I was wondering if the tortoise and the hare were friends or not. Then it all just kind of fell into place. It took me awhile to get this joke just right.

Today's dedication goes out to Jim Davis, who is the man behind Garfield. Now Garfield is the very first comic strip that I discovered, and to this day is one of my favorites. The jokes always made me laugh, something about a fat sarcastic cat that really spoke to me. I remember watching the Garfield specials on TV, the holiday ones always being my favorite, and still watch them on DVD every holiday religiously. So many thanks go out to Jim Davis for giving me many years of wonderful laughs and joy with that lazy cat of his.

Ok peeps, that will do it for today. I hope to see you all here again on Friday for the last cartoon of the week. Until then you all know the drill, you know that thing I always say about sharing, caring, and .... uh being fair. Til next time.

Good Monday to you all. It is time for, what I like to hope is your favorite new comic strip, Not @ All. Now when I first start this, I wanted to make sure I was ahead of schedule, so I built up a stock pile of toons. Well I just realized that I have been burning through them faster then I have been making new ones. What does this mean? Well to you guys nothing, because I am determined to keep a schedule here, so when I say updates are three times a week, I mean it. To me, this means I have been either distracted as of late, or just plain lazy, and either way need to get back to work. So today's comic is just something that popped in my head one day. I really liked the way it turned out.

Now today's dedication goes out to those brave men and women who serve their country America's many military factions. Without those brave people to fight for the freedoms that make this country great, I would not be here doing this. So thanks guys and gals, we all really appreciate what you do.

So folks, that's going to do it for today. You all have my thanks and gratitude for stopping by and reading my cartoons. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making them. So I will see you all back here on Wednesday for another brand new cartoon. Until then, you know the drill, be fair, take care, and remember to share.
